Back in January, ESPN announced that it was
committed to three-dimensional broadcasting. On June 11, the network will launch ESPN 3D, which will feature a minimum of 85 live sporting events in glorious 3D.
But CBS, however, is kicking things off by featuring a
3D broadcast of the NCAA Final Four in dozens of movie theaters nationwide. I guess it's the next best thing to being there.
