I really enjoy the "demotivational" posters at "Despair.com". I'd love to wallpaper my office with them, but, as a low-level manager, I'm not supposed to be cynical about the workplace anymore. At least, I'm not supposed to be overtly cynical about the workplace. Maybe I'll just get some small prints that the upper-level managers can't read from where they stand. :)
My favorite of all time came from Mark Twain on procrastination: "Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow."
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the adversity one: That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
ReplyDeleteHA! Yes!
Discovery is hilarious: A company that will go to the ends of the Earth for its people will find it can hire them for about 10% of the cost of Americans.
And of course Motivation is the sum of all these posters. I just love this one: If a pretty poster and a cute saying are all it takes to motivate you, you probably have a very easy job. The kind robots will be doing soon.
Classic, absolutely classic.
Yeah, depressories are good stuff. These guys at www.jtcinc.blogspot.com have made similar things called 'emorons' - largely workplace based. Funny stuff - the links are on the right side of the page when you get there.
