Now there's somebody who has way too much emotionally tied up in politics! I have no party. Never really have. I used to be sad when Democrats won and Republicans lost, even though I never registered with the Republican party. Now it makes no difference to me. The Republicans had six years of almost unimpeded access in the executive and legislative branch to prove they had better ideas. They ended up proving nothing but that they were incompetent at every level. Their conservative moral principles have been nothing more than inept lip service, while their practical skills at administering government and being fiscally responsible were actually worse than the Democratic record. I'm glad Bush got a couple appointees on the court that we can hope might exercise slightly more judicial restraint in future years, but it appears that's going to be about it as far as positives go. OK, this is way too serious for this blog. Time to shut up and talk about Norwegian fjords that resemble common hand tools or something.
Did the Constitution Party pick up any seats?
ReplyDeleteAt least the Wilde Cartel continues to rule in Dassel and Meeker County!
ReplyDeleteYou will pay for that, somehow...
ReplyDeleteRick Jore of the CP won a State House seat in Montana.
ReplyDeleteI especially appreciated reactions like this one.
